Well, my dearest friend Brooke got me hooked on yet another website if you could believe. A few nights ago I'm just sitting at my computer lookin at facebook like usual when I get a text from brooke. "Do you have a flickr?", she asks. "No....what's that?". "YOU NEED TO GET ONE!!! RIGHT NOW!!!". And that's how it started. Flickr, if you don't know, is a photography website where many many wonderful photographers have uploaded their amazing work. For sure not a website that I could fit into very easily, but one where Brooke is right at home. But was that going to stop me from uploading every meekly picture I ever thought was semi-decent? No of course not. Fake it til you make it, right? So now I have picture upon picture added to my page for the whole flickr world to see. Thank goodness Brooke's the only one who cares to look at them, and comment on every single one might I add. And then there's this crazy thing where she wants to take pictures. Of me. Ha. She brings it up alllll the time. "So when are we going to get together and take those picture we've been talking about for so long?", "Ummmm, meh?". And so on. Anyway....as I explored the pages of flickr, looking at every picture that even seemed a little appealing to me, I got inspired. It's amazing to see the world through another's eyes, and I want to join in the fun too. However, my camera is suck camera, so here's me attempting to get some cash and buy a new one. Wish me luck. And if you'll let me take your picture, I'd love the experience,so just let me know. *click*.
